Chicken was found as a stray in rough condition. He was extremely thin, matted, and in poor health. A search for owners proved futile, and Chicken was vetted, nursed back to health, and cleared for adoption. Chicken is a non-shedding breed mix of some type; Shih tzu, Maltese, poodle, havanese, etc, are all possible. He'll require professional grooming every 4-8 weeks (see photo #4 for reference!). We'd like to thank Annie's Pet Parlor for mercy grooming this boy. His ideal weight is about 10 pounds, and we suspect he's about 9-12 months old. Chicken is great with dogs of all sizes, and would love to go home with a doggie playmate or two. He's mastering his crate, house and leash training in his foster home. He has not been tested with cats or children. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.
