Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female (spayed)
This adorable, stunning feline spent her days doing her best to stay away from an aggressive resident dog in her previous home, by trying to be a tree dweller (living up high), because to be a ground dweller meant she would not survive. When Savannah first came to Paw Placement and was placed in a foster home she still had a lot of concerns, but eventually realized she didn't need to be in a "flight to safety" mode all of the time. Gone where the days of an aggressive dog and an owner who didn't care about her well-being.
Savannah is absolutely thriving in her foster home now that she realizes there are homes where there is a human who cares about her and wants her to be happy feline. Paw Placement is looking for a home for Savannah where there are no other cats, dogs or children in the home, because all she wants is to be someones companion. She doesn't want to to complete with any other animals (dog or cat) to get attention, but just live a peaceful life where she can follow her human around and have playtime. Paw Placement feels she deserve to be treated and spoiled where she doesn't have to relive the past, and can start in a new home that really appreciates this girl.
This gentle girl just wants to be near you and will follow you around the residence. If you are working on a computer or on the bed she is there and will listen to everything you have to say. She will also entertain herself getting herself in a prime spot on a cat condo where she can look out of a window and be entertained by the Arizona wildlife.
If you are looking for a companion and have the patience for Savannah to get used to a new forever home then please submit an application at: http://www.pawplacement.org
Please only submit an application if you do not have dogs, cats and no children.
