Rocket was abandoned at a very common dog dumping site in northern AZ. Luckily for him, his rescuer was passing by at just the right time, and spotted him among the piles of trash.

Rocket is proving to be a fun loving and smart little boy! He is energetic, playful, spunky, friendly, and affectionate. He is picking up on his house and potty training and will, of course, require lots of continued training and socialization in his forever home. We don't know Rocket's parents, so his breed is a mystery, however, based on the location where he was found, we are confident he is a working breed of some type - cattle dog, border collie, aussie, GSD. He would love a home with a doggie playmate or two, though he'd be ok as a solo dog as long as there are dogs in his life to give him a social outlet.

A note from foster mom: He is super cuddly and also super active (and easily distracted!). He is smart and a quick learner. He loves playing fetch and chasing me around the yard. And he has the best puppy dog face in the world, which makes discipline a bit challenging!
