Poppy and her siblings were born in a loving Paw Placement foster home about a week after her momma came to us via some exceptional rescuers in northern AZ. Momma, now named Maci, was pregnant at nine months old and living outside, and her owners decided to surrender her to give her and her puppies a chance at a better life.

And oh, what a life they've had! Born Thanksgiving Eve, these 4 babies and their momma have been loved and spoiled over the last two months. These babies are happy and healthy, well socialized and friendly, affectionate and playful. They live with adult dogs of all sizes, and would love to go to a forever home with a doggie playmate or two. Maci is a border collie mix of some type, while dad must be a very large dog - by the looks of the pups, we guess maybe bernese mountain dog or similar? - because all 4 pups are large breed.

A note from Poppy's foster mom: Poppy is such a gorgeous and smart girl! She is the most outgoing of the litter, and the most independent. As with all the puppies, she loves to romp and play with the dogs, but she is also happy exploring her areas of the yard or lounging solo by the pool. When she's tired, she's very content to cuddle up on a welcoming lap.
