Mia, only a seven-month-old kitten herself, was rescued with her own four tiny kittens from a difficult circumstance. She was pregnant at just five and a half months.  Fortunately, she and her babies were taken into foster care where they have all thrived being cared for, loved and neutered preparing them for their forever homes.  Mia is a classic Russian Blue: long and lean with emerald green eyes,  conservative by nature, thoughtful, highly intelligent and very  affectionate  once she gets to know you.  

Once she establishes trust, she is ever-present at your side, weaving herself in and out all around you quietly purring and keen to have all the human attention and affection you can give.  Her nirvana is having her ears scratched and having her distinctive silky silver-grey coat brushed. She will flop on her back to have her tummy rubbed.  Like most Russian Blues, Mia is an avid talker with all sorts of different voices depending on what she is trying to tell you.  

One of her favorite past times is looking out the window, watching and listening to the birds. She would love a scratching post and tall cat tree to perch in and she will always want a secret place to nap and hide from loud noises.  

Little Mia has been a very devoted mother to her four babies.  Now it is her turn to be treated as the regal little girl she is with an owner she can form a very close one-to-one bond in her forever home.
