Mickey, her siblings and her mom are reservation dogs from Page, AZ. Lucky for this family, some amazing rescuers came to their rescue when they were dumped. With the help of a wonderful team of rescuers, this family made its way to Paw Pla[cement and is now in a loving and nurturing foster home.

Mickey's breed is a mystery. Mom appears to be a yellow lab mix of about 65 pounds, while dad is unknown. Mickey looks very much like an Australian Shepherd mix, though she could be a mix of many other breeds.

Mickey is fun, playful, friendly, affectionate and smart. She is looking for an active home who can dedicate the time and energy to training a rambunctious young puppy. She will need lots of patient training in her forever home including crate, house and potty training and, perhaps most importantly, lots of socialization to ensure she grows into a well balanced and well behaved adult dog.

A note from foster mom: Alex and Mickey are the most adventurous, squirrelly, and bold of the bunch. They don’t hesitate to dive into something new, and they TAKE the attention they want, they don’t wait around for it to be given to them. They’re the first to run up and greet new people (and old).
