Poptart was seen being dumped out of a car near a major intersection in Mesa. A few kind souls scrambled to catch Poptart and the other dogs who were now frantically running the streets. They managed to catch Poptart and her friend, Peach, while the remainder of the dogs ran into traffic after the vehicle that dumped them.

We are so grateful to these rescuers who saved Peach and Poptart, and we were honored to welcome these girls into the Paw Placement family.

Poptart is just as spunky and sweet as her name implies. She is playful and energetic, friendly and outgoing. She loves to romp and play with her doggie friends, and she loves every human she meets. She is adventurous, eager to please and affectionate. Poptart's breed is a mystery, though she has chiweenie traits, and is larger than she'd be if she were pure chihuahua. Poptart is working on her crate and house training in her foster home, and is doing extremely well. As with all young puppies, she'll require lots of continued training in her forever home including crate, house and potty training, and continued socialization.
