Tobias was being given away outside of a gas station when our foster family happened upon him. Luckily, Tobias is a happy and healthy boy, and doesn't seem to hold his bad experience against us!

Tobias is an energetic and active young puppy looking for a household that can give him the exercise, structure and discipline, and patience he needs to grow into a well-balanced adult dog. Tobias appears to be largely German Short Haired Pointer, which is a working breed, mixed with something else - though your guess is as a good as ours! He is affectionate, sweet and eager to please. Tobias is great with dogs and cats, and would love to go home with a doggie playmate. He is mastering his crate and house training in his foster home and, as with all young puppies, he will require lots of continued training in his forever home including crate, house and potty training and, perhaps most importantly, lots of continued socialization. Tobias came to us rather shy with strangers, likely due to never having been exposed to anyone but his owners at a young age, so he'll need lots of work on positive experiences with many people as he grows to ensure he is well-socialized.
