Dachshund
Princessa and Buttercup were abandoned outside. These little sisters huddled together, so scared to be on their own. They heard a noise - "What is it?" they wondered, leaving the safety of the bush under which they were hiding. Out jumped a coyote and pounced on Buttercup. She yowled in terror which thankfully brought a concerned human running to see what was causing the commotion. She scared the coyote away and has now spent months helping Buttercup recover from her wounds. Princessa has been a loyal little nursemaid throughout the ordeal and the dogs are quite bonded. We would like to see them adopted together if possible., Princessa and Buttercup will thrive in a quiet environment where they can hold their own little dachshund races. They are sweet and well-socialized. For all of their ordeals, these girls are not holding any grudges against the people who abandoned them! They are looking for their new forever home and have only one demand - NO COYOTES!!!! |
