Miss Daisy was found roaming the streets of Phoenix. All efforts to find her owners failed and we are left scratching our heads as to how she wound up homeless. , Here is an account of all things Miss Daisy as told by her rescuer and foster daddy:, "I found Miss Daisy darting in and out of heavy traffic along Sweetwater Ave. one afternoon. Just before she was about to attempt crossing a busy intersection, I opened my car door, and she jumped in. She was wearing a collar, but no tags or microchip. I drove around with her for awhile to see if anyone was out searching for her, but nobody was. We walked around the for awhile to see if she would lead me to a specific house, knocked on some doors, asked a mailman... nothing. I posted flyers all around the neighborhood, listed her on Craigslist, Petfinder, and a couple of other sites and it appears she's been abandoned. In the meantime, I've been checking those sites religiously for "Lost Dog" postings to no avail. Miss Daisy, so named because she loves to be driven around, deserves so much better!, She's been a real sweetheart to everyone she meets, and on our walks, many neighbors have complimented me on what a beautiful dog she is. She has the Husky prey drive, so will try to go after cats, rabbits, and other small animals if she sees them. She's been generally OK meeting big dogs, her size or larger, on our walks., Also, Miss Daisy LOVES belly rubs! More about Miss DaisyNot Good with Cats
