Basenji Mix

Daddy Longlegs has come a loooooooooonnnnng way - we rescued him off the euthanization list at the local shelter. He had caught a cold, and though it was easily treatable, it slated him for death. He is now completely healthy and looking for his furever home., Daddy Longlegs is the perfect mix of sweet and playful. He LOVES his humans and would probably be best as an only dog or with one easygoing canine sibling. He entertains himself with toys and has a fondness for taking them outside (socks, too!), He is doggy-door trained, house-trained and crate-trained. He walks great on a leash and does best when he receives daily exercise. He is learning basic commands and would reach his full doggy potential with obedience training. , A handsome fella, Daddy is a fit and trim 18 lbs. He has beautiful amber-colored eyes, which close in pure bliss when he gets a back scratch! He has one ear that sticks up at all times - adorable! , Daddy Longlegs is a wonderful dog, patiently waiting for the right family - come meet him - it could be you!!
