MEET MITTENS!!!! I found Mittens as I was stopped at the light on Van Buren and 31st Ave. You are probaly wondering what I am doing on that "lovely" side of town.....I have rental property over there. Anywhoo....I look...the light is red...and here comes this little black chi walking across Van Buren...in the crosswalk from south to north on 31st Ave. Luckily, the light was red or he would have been run over for sure...people don't care a whole lot about dogs on that side of town. He looked very hot, dehydrated and he was limping. I had one of my workers with me and we followed the dog. Eventually we pulled over and coaxed him into my truck with food. He was scared at first but has turned out to be a super dog!!!! He is tiny...only about 5lbs. He He loves the other dogs and is playful and loving., We are still working on house-training but little Mittens is coming along. He is such a sweet little fellow. What better way to start the Fall Season than with MITTENS!!!
