PAW PLACEMENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER ADOPTION APPLICATIONS FOR THESE LITTLE ONES TO HOMES THAT ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE SCOTTIE/TERRIER BREED(S)AND ARE COMMITTED TO LOVING THIS STRONG WILLED BUT LOYAL BREED, McKenna is a little princess and she knows it! she is the mellowest puppy in the litter and she is not a dominant personality and her activity level is moderate. , McKenna does very well with the cats at her foster Moms house and enjoys playing with other dogs big or small. She is a very smart puppy and responds well to positive reinforcement. , McKenna would do alright in a home with children who are old enough to have impulse control. , Since McKenna is still young she would do best in a family with someone home most of the time. This girl needs a family willing to take her places to meet new people and new dogs to build her little doggy ego. Being a puppy, all adopters must be prepared to deal with the ever-changing behaviors of a growing dog. Puppy may chew, bark and need potty-training-- they must be given loving structure with each phase of doggy development., Despite Scotties' small stature they are not lap dogs and do better in active family settings., If you are interested in meeting a Scottie puppy, please google the breed and read about its characteristics to see ifthe breed is right for your lifestyle., HOW DID A RESCUE GROUP GET PUREBRED PUPPIES? We rescued two Scottie females from a Puppy Mill situation. Both sisters went in for spays but it was discovered that Moira was VERY pregnant. So, voila, just a few weeks later, SCOTTIE PUPPIES!!
