Rhodesian ridgeback mix
A beautiful big red dog peered at us from the back of his kennel. His head was low and his eyes showed fear. We spoke to him and slowly, he began to wag his tail. He cocked his head as if trying to understand what we were saying. Suddenly, this gentle giant bounded towards us. He hugged the kennel door with his body, giving us kisses and begging for release. Once out of confinement, McQueen proved to be a cool dude. He sits on command and gets along well with other dogs. He is house-trained and his eyes are brimming with intelligence. Because he is such a cool, good-looking fella, we named him after Steve McQueen, otherwise known as "The King of Cool." McQueen will make an excellent canine companion for almost anyone.
