Pure Bred Bengal

Mesquite came to us after a plea was sent out for someone to save this beautiful cat from euthanasia because the Humane Society was overflowing with unwanted cats. Mesquite was used as a breeding cat and clearly received no human affection. He has been in foster for over a month and has made huge strides. He is very vocal and loves nothing more that to have his head and back scratched and gives big head butts! Mesquite has come a long way and is very sweet cat who is always looking for his human as if make sure you aren't going to leave him. He has learned all things kitty and now loves his toys, catnip and the kitty brush more than anything! He seems amazed at his good fortune. Mesquite is litterbox trained and is a very neat and tidy boy. He LOVES canned cat food and is not shy about reminding you when it's feeding time. He is a large cat and seems to do ok with cat friendly dogs and maybe one submissive cat but keep in mind our Mesquite is very assertive. Bengal cats have very unique personalities and we recommend that he only go home with someone familiar with the breed.
