Why am I here?" Meow! "Don't walk by me." Meow! "I am scared" Meow! This is what Posey told us at Animal Care & Control on the day she was scheduled to die. The facility was packed with cats in kennels, the waiting room was full of people relinquishing pets and hundreds are scheduled for euthanasia each day. This means that pets die by the thousands each week. Posey got her name because she is a delicate little burst of sunshine. Even in the darkest location, her personality cast sun into her kennel. She is a dainty, little lady-like girl with an incredibly loving and laid-back demeanor. Now that she is safe with us, she has really let her sweetness blossom. She pushes into your hand when you pet her, purrs non-stop at the slightest sign of positive attention and is content to sit on a lap and love love love! We are glad we listened to her little meow on the day we saved her. Please complete her rescue story and give her a loving forever home. |
