Little Pookie was picked up by the AZ Humane Society as he was just running down the street. Even thought he was so thin, matted and dirty, he was a happy little chap licking the face of his rescuers., Pookie is a real love, he is a very happy easy to love cuddle bug. He gets along great with cats and other dogs. , Little Pookie does have Valley fever, but his titers have come down quite a bit and we hope that he will be cured of it completely in the future. His Valley Fever meds run about $20 a month and he should be test every 4-6 month. Valley Fever is NOT contagious to people or other pets. , But this little guy is a true gem and very easy to love., Pookie would do best in a home with older kids., Please call us to meet Pookie!
