About Willow - Courtesy Post

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 2271
Willow is a very pretty, very playful girl. She was a Christmas gift; and the unsuspecting recipient just did not want or have time for a puppy. His friends took turns housing Willow, and as a result, she is very friendly, a total sweetheart to everyone. Her last host was actually evicted from his apartment for having her there, so he took her to a boarding facility. The dog was then signed over to us by the owner. , , Willow is good with cats and with children; she is great with most other dogs, but will fight with a dominant one... which was a surprise to me; when I took her for her spay and then later to get her spay staples removed, she couldn't have been nicer to the other dogs in the waiting rooms. But she did have a fight with a large dominant female at the day care., , She is all puppy and loves to be loved; she'll need to learn not to jump up on people and so for now, perhaps a home with older children and/or younger senior citizens would be best. , , Willow is housetrained and knew how to use a doggy dog when she first came to us back in February. However, she has been boarded since then. She is keeping her room clean at the boarding facility., , Because she is a Dal mix, her skin is not sensitive to sun or shampoos. She is healthy and has no allergies so far noted. She meets new people very easily and nicely. She pulls on the leash, but rides nicely in cars. She is crate trained, but hasn't been in one since she's been boarded., If you would like to meet this lovely girl, please contact Diana at diakra480@aol.com.
