Even though Max was sadly turned in to the Humane Society as an owner surrender, now that he has settled into his safe and loving foster home, he has shaken off his past and is ready to start anew. His days are now spent with his canine foster siblings, with whom he gets along well. Max really needs a dog buddy to be with if you won't be home during the day., Max is a thoughtful and observant guy who is looking for a loving and caring home where his good behavior will be appreciated. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, no), he is good with sharing food, he is housetrained and learning to use a doggy door, and he doesn?t bark much. He weighs 50 pounds and is microchipped and neutered. His short hair is just waiting for the right person who wants to bring it back to its full luster. He?ll be a shiny beacon of happiness once he finds a forever home. His young age (just under one year) is the perfect combination of a little bit of puppy and a little bit of adult. He is gentle with children and seems to think that cats are interesting creatures, but children over 8 are recommended, and until he understands that cats are the boss, supervision is best. He is a lab mix. If you would like to adopt Max, please click on "Contact Us About Max". More about Max - In FlagstaffGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
