Blue Heeler Cattle dog

Wily was a stray who had successfully staked out a Phoenix neighborhood as his home on the loose until he fell in love with the dog next door. One fateful night he found himself so taken by a comely young pitbull out on her walk that he failed to notice a leash slip over his head as he tried to arouse her affections. Wily was frozen in fear as he re-entered the world of humans, but learned to enjoy the comforts of A/C and plentiful food and water quickly....along with the company of two female dogs he tried in vain to romance. Just days after he began his new life, near tragedy struck as he was spooked by barking rottis while on a walk by their home. Wily bolted away so quickly he yanked the leash out of his foster's hands and disappeared within seconds. His foster mom searched but could not find him, and it was very hot, so she hoped she might have more luck after dark. Well, Wily is no fool, he spent the heat of the day hiding out, then was found trotting back to his foster home and walked right back inside the house! , Wily is a blue heeler cattle dog with the soul of a crafty coyote. He steals hearts with his tender affection and great behavior indoors and out. He's great with girl dogs and cats but he'd rather be the only Romeo dog in the house and gets a wee bit grouchy with males.
