When Paw Placement was founded in 2002, our directors saw a need for a safe haven for animals whose humans were no longer able to care for them due to unforseen circumstances, including illness or death. Midnight (AKA "Middy") and his sisters, Shadow and Buffy, came to Paw Placement because their human recently passed away. Although we know that they must be very saddened and confused by their loss, Paw Placement has promised to find a perfect home for these three. Midnight is fairly shy and will need lots of love, along with some space and time, to adjust to his new family. Because of his older age, Midnight must go to a low-activity household, preferably with his sisters. However, Midnight loves dogs and would do well with a patient canine companion who allows Midnight to bond with him or her. He does well with a scratching post and would make a sweet, gentle housemate for almost anyone with a quiet lifestyle. Don't let his "senior" status fool you - Midnight is a sweet, beautiful boy with a lot of love to give. All he'll ask for is the promise that he's safe with his new forever family.
