Max was turned into the pound because his owners said that he was not getting along with the children in the home. Max was dirty, underweight and had a choke collar on that was many sizes too small. Max is good w/ cats and other dogs and is a very low maintenance, non-destructive, loving boy. Max is house-trained and never barks. He has two requirements...never push on him to sit, etc. or pull him by the collar. Max is very obedient and will respond by voice commands. He will sit on command and jump up on you on command. He loves to rub his head on you for pets and when he's done and he will walk away and go sit down in a quiet, cool place. Max also likes to play tug o war with pull toys and often acts like a young dog. We really don't know how old he is and he has the eyes of a 5 year old.
