Matisse was saved from a house fire when she was a very young kitten. Since that traumatic event, she has been raised with other cats but prefers to be by herself. For this reason, we suggest that Matisse find a home as an only feline or where there is only one other docile cat in the home. Matisse can be shy around people she does not know. But once she is comfortable in her surroundings, she makes a very loving, affectionate companion. Matisse loves to sneak up on her human's bed at night and curl herself around covered feet. Matisse's current owner has enlisted Paw Placement to help him find homes for his four beloved cats - Matisse, Bandita, Fred and K-Pax.
