Merlin's owner gave him up because he doesn't have time for him. Merlin is a well-behaved and S-M-A-R-T dog!!!! Merlin is a beautiful example of the Australian Shepherd breed who will need significant intellectual and physical challenges. He will flourish with behavioral and/or agility training. Merlin already knows sit, down and stay. If you lead an energetic lifestyle, Merlin is your boy! He would make a great jogging buddy. He appears to be housebroken and learned to use the doggy door in one day! Merlin enjoys playing with other dogs, and he has an alpha-personality (indicative of his breed) and will want to be the leader of your pack (at least amongst the males!). He does well with the cats, but there is no play exemption for them either! While Merlin is catsafe, he will want to play with your cats.
