Maverick was found as a stray, roaming ownerless around Arizona. But he is very happy to be found and cared for by someone. Maverick is a great little dog who has a lot of energy but is not hyper. He enjoys the company of cats and dogs, so he will fit into almost any home setting where introduction tactics are taken. Maverick will also make a great family dog so long as all children in the home are old enough to have impulse control. This little guy is house-trained, crate-trained and walks very well on the leash. After only one day in his foster home, Maverick knows a handfull of commands. He can "Sit," "Stay," "Down," and is learning to "Shake." Maverick is one smart cookie who will flourish in a home that encourages his intelligence through training.
