Max is absolutely the MOST PRECIOUS dog who deserves better than being left behind by people who moved and conveniently "forgot to take him". He is a beautiful golden red chow with a sweet, and somewhat shy personality! Although just say the word, walk or get the leash and he really lights up and starts to trot! He is housebroken from what I can tell although prefers to be outside on the patio(as long as it is not too hot)! Come evening time he gets a little restless so that would be a good time to bring him inside , or go for a walk. Max gets along with other dogs as long as they are not too rowdy or too aggressive. He would be a GREAT companion for anyone who walks regularly. Surprisingly gentle for being a larger dog, he would be a great , addition for a single person,couple, or family with children. No undesirable or destructive habits have been observed., Max is an awesome, beautiful dog who attracts alot of attention wherever he goes! Because he has been abandoned, Max can be very distant when meeting new people. Once he feels comfortable with you and recognizes you, he is a completely different dog. He gets a little giddy and loves back scratches and will surprise you with a quick kiss. The lucky patient person who adopts him, will have a great loving companion for life.
