There are two extreme types of cats in this world. 1). There are the cats who think they are dogs and follow their humans from room to room. They love to be held and all you have to do is walk into the house to start the cat a-purring! 2). The aloof cat who tolerates your presence in the home and every now and then will deign to be petted. (Think Garfield). Moon Shadow falls somewhere between these two personality types. This little kitten is, by no means, aloof. But he is on the shyer side of feline personalities. While he is not the type of kitten to initially jump right into your lap, all you have to do is look into his eyes to see that he really WANTS to be near you. But first, he wants to know that he can trust you. Once the bond of love and security is built between Moon Shadow and his human, he becomes the sweetest kitty cat ever. Paw Placement does not know Moon Shadow's history -- we know that he was found alone in this scary world and was taken to the pound. When Paw Placement found little Moon Shadow, he was a quivering furball of fright. But in foster care, Moon Shadow's personality blossomed. In just a matter of weeks, Moon Shadow learned that humans can be nice. He grew to trust his foster mom and by the end of his stay at her house, was jumping on the bed for loving! If you want a kitty cat who will bond strongly with you over time, Moon Shadow is your little fellow. A relationship with Moon Shadow will be so rewarding - you will actually see his trust grow and with that comes an enormous amount of love. Moon Shadow must go to a QUIET home where he can may bond strongly with his human.
