Although Maud's foster mom says she won't win any beauty contests, she is a winner with her sweet loving personality (I think she is beautiful!). Maud has now been in 3 different foster homes in the past year and all have raved about her. Maud's foster parents report that she is a smart, obedient dog. They can't believe that she hasn't been adopted by now....neither can we. We've had this dear girl for way too long, and we just don't understand why. Maud is more than a GREAT dog....she is very special. Maud was scheduled to be euthanized at Animal Care & Control in November of 2003. She was brought in as a stray and was listed to be 5 years in age and extremely over weight. Not long before her scheduled day to be euthanized, she had belonged to someone who did little to find their lost girl. Maud absolutely loves people. Maud's new owners will need to exercise her regularly and be ready for tons of doggie kisses since her favorite thing to do is sit on your lap and kiss you. Maud's foster parents have leaned this girl up by taking her hiking and jogging along side of their bikes. After a few times they didn't even need a leash. This wonderful dog deserves a second look - and that's all it will take for someone to fall in love with her! More about MaudGood with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids
